A Calmer Halloween
Halloween is a hard night to be a dog. The doorbell goes forty times. Strangers arrive in shapes that don't smell like people. And the walk home happens in the dark, on streets full of cars and children who aren't looking.
None of that needs a costume to fix. It needs a dog drivers can see from a block away, paws that don't track half of October into your hallway, and something for an anxious mouth to do while the doorbell keeps going.
These are the things already on our shelves that earn their place on the 31st.
